We value positive relationships with parents and carers, because when we work together, children have better social and emotional skills, are more engaged in their learning and attend school more often, leading to better long term outcomes.
For parenting and counselling services, visit the Family Support page, and for direction and clarity on regulations, processes and procedures at our school, read the Sydney Catholic School policies.
Bethlehem College provides a variety of ways for parents and carers to engage in the college community. In addition to the college’s fortnightly newsletter, the website, email, text messages and the Compass parent portal are all means of communication used to keep parents informed of important news and college events.
The college hosts information evenings for different year groups, regular parent forums, parent evenings with external guest speakers and social events such as the International Women’s Day morning tea and assembly, Mothers’ and Fathers’ Breakfasts and Masses.
